This first one had a good spot between some seaweed. It was content to let us take photographs, even with flash. He did a good job blending in!
He did keep an eye on us, though.
This octopus was in a shallow pool with no place to hide, so he was a bit cranky. He made 'angry colours' and squirted water at us when I tried to take photos.
I love low tide behind our house- it reveals so many things!
That would put me off ever going in the water again.
