Cooking: Whole Wheat Cheddar Crackers

Today Asher and I made whole wheat cheddar crackers. They were easy! For Asher, it was like playing with play doh.

Here is the recipe we used, but I edited the recipe (at end of post):

We treated the dough like playdoh and a rolling pin and cookie cutters (we have a box of 100+, so I chose a circle, star and car.

His new big boy room has shelves for his toys (and he puts them away... sometimes. Still working on that!). We rotate through his toys to keep things interesting.

Water Transferring- Toddler play!

We've been doing lots of activities with things around the house. This one was transferring water from one container to another, and I usually give him a variety of 'tools' to transfer with. He gets the general idea, but doesn't manage to move much water. (He often tries to pick up water with his fingers and transfer it that way).

Despite putting it on a towel, he gets everything wet, but he loves it so!

Play- lids and an ice cream container

I got this idea from my sister-in-law, Linda. I had an ice cream with a hinged lid and cut a hole in the top, and gave Asher some large lids to put in the hole. I had to cut the corners off of the ice cream container so he could open and shut it himself. He played with it for quite a while, and even found other toys to try to put in the hole.
