Asher enjoys interacting with the chickens in Nana and Grandad's backyard. An easy way of distracting him from a grumpy moment is a visit to the chickens.
In the morning he often feeds the chickens and throughout the day if there are any appropriate scraps to throw. (When I say appropriate, I mean things that are okay for him to eat as he will try to eat them before he throws them at the chickens). For a 17 month old, he has pretty good aim!
We often find an egg in the nesting box. Asher is usually very careful holding them.
He helps to write the date on the end of the egg.
And finally he puts it in the fridge.
