One of our adventures in Forth Worth included going to the zoo. We arrived early, along with a few hundred schoolkids. Despite it being a bit crowded, we all had a ball.

We waited until Friday to go as it was the warmest of all the days we were there (and was the day we were leaving). The zoo didn't open until ten (how late that seems when Asher wakes at 6!) so we got in a few good hours before he got sleepy and cranky. Asher was free, which was great, and the admission prices were quite reasonable.
Asher's favorite animals were the monkeys and elephants (we got to see one having a shower!), the ducks, the cows and horses at the end of the train ride, and especially the fish in the aquarium. So pretty much everything until he got tired.
